THE ASK
Firstly, this is not a marketing initiative and we’re not looking for influencers (you can sign up for marketing collabs here instead!). This page is where dedicated and legitimate climbers can register their interest to receive pre-release gear in return for assisting us with testing and product evaluation. In full transparency, this is our initiative to more cost-effectively and legitimately review our products with fast and genuine feedback from the real world. These are voluntary opportunities: we give you the gear for free; you test it over sustained periods of use and provide us some feedback on how it performs. There is nothing more to it. It’s a trust system and we have
absolute faith in the world’s climbers to make our products better and to help us to grow.
FAQs
Does it matter where I am based?
Nope! We sell internationally so the more variation in testing locations the better.
Is this paid work?
No, these are volunteer opportunities. We give you the gear the for free and you can keep it.
Am I guaranteed participation?
No, sorry. We can't guarantee everyone will get a chance to be involved, especially given the popularity of this initiative. Most people will be contacted within a few weeks of registering their interest, though.
Can minors and kids participate?
Yes! But parent or guardian oversight is necessary, please.
Why not just give gear to influencers?
We do that sometimes, too, but it's not always the best way to get genuine product feedback.
Why do I need to provide my dimensions to you?
Because we generally want reviewers to test a certain size of product, so we're usually looking for a certain build or body type.
Can I request to test a particular Problem Child product?
Yes! We just can't guarantee that we can always send you what you want.
Will I definitely hear back from you?
We try to respond to everyone, but we're a small family business, so if the volume of interest is overwhelming, we may only reply to successful applicants.
